At Zam’s Couture, we believe every woman deserves a dress tailored to her unique style and body. Our custom-made dresses are designed with you in mind, offering a fully personalised experience from start to finish. From selecting fabrics and colours to ensuring the perfect fit with detailed measurements, we work closely with you to bring your vision to life.

 

With our expert craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality, each dress is meticulously created to reflect your individuality. Whether it’s for a wedding, special event, or any occasion, our bespoke services ensure that your dress is made just for you.

 

Important Notes: To begin production, we must receive all measurements. Additionally, you can upload pictures of your ideal dress or veil and include a description to help us understand your vision. Once the form is completed, a member of our team will contact you to discuss your ideas further.

Custom-Made Dress & Veil Process

Step

Description

  • Consultation

Discuss your vision, event details, and preferences with our team, covering styles, fabrics, and custom options for both dresses and veils.

  • Design Selection

Choose a design, fabric, and colour that fits your style, or collaborate with us to create something unique.

  • Confirmation & Deposit

Once the design is agreed upon, confirm your order with a 70% deposit of the total dress and/or veil value to proceed.

  • Measurements

Provide precise body measurements using our Measurement Guide or schedule an in-person fitting.

  • Dress & Veil Creation

Our skilled tailors and artisans will craft your dress and veil with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring a cohesive look. Please allow 8–12 weeks for production.

  • Fitting & Adjustments

Try on the dress and veil for fit and comfort. We recommend attending an in-person fitting so that we can make any necessary alterations to ensure everything is perfect.

  • Final Approval & Payment

Approve the final ensemble, complete any final tweaks, and settle the remaining balance.

  • Collection/Delivery

Your custom-made dress and veil are ready for collection or can be shipped directly to you.

VEIL MEASURING GUIDE

A simple guide to help you measure accurately for your bespoke veil.

 
1. Choose your veil placement

Decide where your veil will sit – at the crown, back of the head, or beneath a bun.

 
2. Measure your length

Using a soft tape measure, start at your chosen point and measure down your back to where you would like the veil to finish.

 
3. Note your measurement

Record your length in centimetres. For a softer drape, you may wish to add 2–5 cm.

 
Guide lengths (approximate)

Shoulder – 50 cm
Elbow – 63 cm
Fingertip – 91 cm
Waltz – 137 cm
Chapel – 229 cm
Cathedral – 274–305 cm

  • Measure whilst wearing your wedding shoes
  • Stand naturally and keep the tape straight
  • Ask someone to assist for accuracy
